VJP 220 Bubba Ho-Tep
On this episode of the Video Junkyard Podcast we are TCB on some redneck, soul-suckin', sh*tter-house wall-defacing mummy sombitch! That's right - we take a look at the 2002 Don Coscarelli film "Bubba Ho-Tep" staring Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis (seriously). When an elderly Elvis Presely (not dead, but living out the last few years of his life in a rural Texas retirement home after a botched lifestyle swap with an impersonator) notices some evil "scuttlin'" around the retirement home and the suspicious deaths of a number of residents, he teams up with John F. Kennedy (also not dead but the victim of a conspiracy where he his brain was swapped with a bag of sand. Oh and he's been dyed black) to stop an evil mummy dressed as a cowboy who has been feeding off of the residents' souls. Through their anuses. We aren't kidding. Campbell's Elvis and Davis' Kennedy MUST be seen to believed. Check out the film and then join us for the discussion on the Video Junkyard Podcast!
