This week on the podcast, we continue our series on serial heroes of the 1930s (as portrayed in movies from the 1990s and reviewed in 2020)with a look at the 1991 Disney production of "The Rocketeer". Our film this week is actually a bit of an odd-ball; The Rocketeer is based on a comic book from the 1980s, but is heavily inspired by similar characters from the 1930s... so we are counting it! The Rockteer stars a huge case including Bill Campell, Alan Arkin, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Sorvino, and Timothy Dalton all under the direction of Joe Johnston.
